Anyone team - for profit, non-profit, startup, social entrepreneur, academicians, group of experts - is eligible provided the team has the ability to work in India towards implementation of the solution that is submitted. Be mindful of the 7R’s of innovative idea

  • Relevance – is the idea going to attend to the core needs/aspirations of the key stakeholders?
  • Revolutionary – is the idea a game-changer to brave this time of crisis?
  • Rapid – can it be done rapidly or fast?
  • Rough – can it be done on a small scale, locally, low budget?
  • Right – is the idea focusing on the right issues that underpin the challenge?
  • Relationally effective – can it make optimum use of resources so that 2+2=5?
  • Replicable – if it works, does the idea have the potential to scale up?

Submitting a solution on the website is NOT a promise of support from PIIndia.org

PIIndia.org is a platform with wide-set of stakeholders and public visibility. Where it matters, the innovator must take due measures to communicate in a way that the intellectual property of the solution remains duly secured.

Any team or organization submitting a solution on PIIndia.org must not consider the submission as a validation of sole ownership of the solution. Such a validation must ideally be part of independent measures to protect the intellectual property.

PIIndia.org does not take responsibility of any dispute resolution between submissions of solutions that match partially or fully.

PIIndia.org is a platform to rapidly mobilise professionals across the country to create solutions for problems emerging from the Covid-19 Pandemic. The spirit of this process involves narrating impactful solutions in a mode of high public visibility. So, this is not the ideal space for teams and organizations that are not comfortable in letting the public eye on their solutions.

There is no alternate process available outside the present format of submission.

Solutions that are not selected to be taken to the next stages of the process will still remain a part of the public communication on the proposals that were submitted to PIIndia.org.
